Kate is my first cousin, my mom and her mom are sisters. I’ve babysat her, she has babysat my kids, just doesn’t seem like she should be graduating!!! I knew this session was going to be great, and this is only her first one, we have more planned!

I don’t even know where to begin with this session. We had so many laughs. I’ve known Hannah forever it seems, they have gone to church with us since Hannah was a baby, she worked with me her senior year, I did her senior photographs, now I get to do her engagements and bridals. We battled lots and lots of mosquitos, I think I took most of them out the photos, but there may be a stray lingering around. I love the personality in these photos, they can try hard but they can not be serious, and I loved capturing it all. Although a few were out of focus because I was laughing at them doing their best to be serious….it just wasn’t happening!
And I’m on a mission to find some “waves”, as Hannah called it, like on the old building down below that was at Hannah’s grandparents house. I’m about to make myself a wall, I loved how it photographed.

Then I photographed her engagements, and now I had the pleasure of photographing her brand new beautiful baby girl. She was such a dream, and stayed passed out the whole time.

The past two weeks have been quite busy, so everyone waiting I promise they are coming soon. The school work that I do has put me really behind on my regular customers. But I’m just about caught up completely with the school stuff!!

A year in review…December 31st, 20102010 was a great year for me and my family. I welcomed a brand new nephew and found out I’m going to be an aunt again all within a month! 2010 was a great year for me and my family. I welcomed a brand new nephew and found out I’m going to be an aunt again all within a month! I’ve also had a client of mine find out he is cancer and crohn’s disease free, absolutely amazing! I wanted to make a collage of all of the families I have photographed, thinking I could get it all done on one photoshop document, but I couldn’t, it took 3! I never would have thought that I had so many sessions this year. I’m so blessed to be able to do something that I love and I appreciate each and every one of you. I’ve enjoyed meeting new families and watching the newborns I have photographed grow over this past year and I’m waiting on some new additions to be added for some other families. Thank you all and have a very Happy New Year!

I just had to share these two adorable little babies I had the opportunity to meet. I’m still not caught up, but I wanted to give them a sneak peek at what’s to come. The have been so patient and not called or emailed asking “where are my images” even though it’s taking longer than it should. Those of you that I have posted a few of your family images for you to choose for your cards, once I start on your session, I’ll blog some of the kids pictures. So keep an eye out, praying I’m caught up by the end of the week!! Ok now back to editing…
