Brennan~Kinder High Senior

April 4th, 2011

We had so much fun with Brennan’s session. I wish I had a photo of Hailey having to hide behind the reflector. If she made eye contact with Brennan he would laugh so hard, so she hid most of the time and didn’t look. I love the natural smiles! And his little sister Miss Emmie […]

And his little sister Miss Emmie came along for his session, she kept saying I want to take a picture, well I thought she meant she wanted me to take a picture of her…..nope she actually wanted to take a picture. I think I’ve met my  future competition!

Here’s another of the seniors I’ve been photographing the past couple weeks. Loved his blue eyes. Hailey was blinding him with the sunlight in some!

Kade ~ Kinder High Senior

March 31st, 2011

Here’s a few from Kade’s session last week. I’m trying to play catch up after all of the website issues I had going on the past week. Those of you still waiting, shouldn’t be long now!

fun family session

March 30th, 2011

Nothing makes me happier than to have families come back to me over the years. I know I say it a lot but I truly love my job. These three had me laughing the whole time they were here and and it made me happy when did not want to leave when we were finished.

After having many, many, many issues things are slowly starting to turn around. I went from not being able to get all of my old blog posts onto my new blog, to finally paying someone to get it moved over for me. Then I tried to add a post and it would not let me upload any photos. I have to be able to upload photos!! But I had to deactivate the theme I was using before, so for now just ignore the ugly looking blog. I’ll try to get brave and get my old theme back up soon. I just don’t have time to fight with it any longer.

Here’s a beautiful senior girl that I’ve been dying to get her images up all last week. I know I showed lots of serious ones, but she could totally pull them off. But I do have lots of smiles in her full gallery!

This is a good friend of mine who just so happens to be an awesome photographer herself. Her and her hubby have been married for 25 years and she wanted to document this time in their lives. I always get nervous photographing other photographers, I am so happy with how they turned out! I love it when they bring something that’s special to them. The quilt in the photo below was made by Melissa’s grandmother before she passed away, for their wedding gift. It has been put up and kept away because it’s started falling apart over the years, but I loved that she still had it.

My website and blog will be down for a couple days. I will be launching a whole new website and while the switch is made they will be unavailable for a couple days. I just really really really hope the blog stays in tact during the switch. I’m not good at all of that stuff and don’t want to loose it. But I think I have it all backed up so hopefully if something happens I can get it back up and running.

Miss Jade

March 16th, 2011

I photographed Jade on some of their family land. Such a beautiful place, but protected by an alligator so we were a little limited on where we could roam around. We didn’t want any surprises! But we were able to get a little close to the water without waking him up!

So many families regularly photograph their children from birth on up until a few years old then they just stop once they get to school age. I am so happy when I book families with older kids. I wish more people thought to document their kids all through out their lives.
